Naota Takemura
Born in 1993, originally from Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture, and currently residing in Shioya, Hyogo Prefecture.
A trail runner, Takemura began his athletic career in middle school, starting with track and field. Over time, he gradually increased his race distances, progressing from 100m to 400m, 800m, 10,000m, and eventually marathons. He now specializes in ultra-distance races, particularly in the 100-mile category.
In 2022, he relocated to Shioya in Kobe, near the trailheads of Mt. Hatafuri and Mt. Tekka. As a member of the Shioya Mountain Club, he actively organizes and manages local events to promote the Shioya community. A passionate participant in not only major races but also grassroots local events, he holds a deep appreciation for small-scale competitions.
